The best UGC ads integrate the product into what could be a regular video. It’s not a heavily direct response, But the product is still the main focus, and we’re being given all the major USPs of the product. And this video is just that.

After watching it, you understand the product and have a perfect use case. It ticks all the boxes for what an ad creative needs to achieve. A good UGC video isn’t about tricking someone into watching an ad, but making an ad that someone would enjoy watching.

Things like insurance can be so dull to advertise - You end up making graphic-heavy statics or long, lame UGC videos. So, when I saw this one, I thought sharing would be good.

Simply put, it’s a handwritten ad creative; we all know they perform well. But it’s the copy that makes it work. They’ve used urgency by setting a time frame and also really niched down the targeting of the creative by calling out drives who do less than 50 miles a day—the perfect static creative. Pairing sales psychology techniques with a good concept and targeting within the creative.

Happy days. The best part is you can pretty much use this for any niche.

The content you create should match the content your customers consume. Hey, that’s why we make UGC videos on TikTok—because they fit what’s being consumed by them organically.

This is especially true in the tech niche. People who love tech usually enjoy watching high-quality content; for example, they might watch MKBHD on YouTube. With that in mind, if you’re in the tech niche like BEACN, make video ads that match that quality and style.

That’s why this example works; it’s so similar to something a consumer might see on the feed that they are drawn to watching. It’s a natural way of advertising that many brands don’t even think about.
