Position your product with creative
Your creative needs to do more than just sell...

Welcome back to Nice Ads! This week we’re going to be breaking down:
How Hims is unlocking new customers with approachable ads
An easy way to position your product in a restricted niche
The best to get your ads in front of the right people
Let’s get on with it, shall we?

Hims

Hims is an expert at making creative that appeals to its demographic, and this creative is no different. It understands that its ICP wants an easy fix for a big problem, so it makes creative like this, showing the solution in just three small steps. It helps the product feel more approachable for men who might be embarrassed about having something like ED.
They carry this same approach across all their products, from hair loss to weight loss. Take this ‘mint’, and your problem will vanish.
Product positioning like this is critical when making ads. The easier something seems, the higher the sales will be.

BRĒZ

Another product with great product positioning is BRĒZ, created by marketing legend and friend Nick Shackelford. They went into this industry of micro-dosed drinks, knowing how hard it would be to advertise on platforms like Meta. So they’ve made sure to position the drink as something more than a mushroom drink and as an alternative to alcohol.
Benefits like zero hangovers and clarity of thought help attract the right customer and help them discover a whole new one interested in getting more out of their day.
Help the customer view the product in the way you want it to be seen.

Get A Grip

How do you ensure that your ads reach the right audience? Do you mess with your detailed targeting options in Meta?
Your hook!
Someone who hates tennis isn’t going to bother watching this advert, meaning the people who do pay attention are qualified and ready to purchase. Targeting with your hook is nothing new, but not enough brands do it. But this brand took it one step further—instead of adding on-screen captions to call out the customer, they write the caption inside the video, helping stop the scroll and making the video feel less edited. We use this a lot at Fraggell because it works!
