Price anchoring - I’m sure you know how important it is when presenting your product. But have you tried it as a hook? We’ve done it a few times at Fraggell, and this is the latest one.
Comparing your product to the cost of something people buy most days is a great way to make it seem more affordable, Especially when it’s a new product they might never have heard about. But picking the right product to compare it with is important.
For example, if you are selling entry-level cars, you’d be silly to compare them to a Lamborghini because the product's consumers aren’t the same. That’s why picking something like coffee that everyone buys daily is a great option.

TLDR;
When using price anchoring, pick the right product to compare it with.
A great creator can do wonders for your video

I LOVE THIS ANGLE. To be honest, I am annoyed that I didn’t think of this first—using archive footage and then reframing the entire video with a green-screened creator. I don’t know if this is actually her mum, but that’s the beauty of this angle. If you have footage of someone using your product but not talking to them, just get another creator to say they're a friend or a relative and frame the video around that! Super smart.
You get a product demo screen and a creator or export discussing the USPs and benefits. All the boxes ticked.
Give this video a watch in full because it’s a really good example of how a great script can keep you hooked along with just a nice ad to save into your swipe file.
TLDR;
Get creative with your archive footage; not everything needs to just be a mashup
A great script can do wonders for your ads

Want to know the easiest and most effective creative you can make today? A product demo.
Film yourself demonstrating how your product works, speed it up and run it.
It works. Trust me, whether this is the first time they’ve seen your product or they’ve been targeted before. If your product clearly solves a problem or just looks cool, it will sell people right away, so why overcomplicate it?
Last week, I spoke to a brand that sold a lasso toy on TikTok. It does numbers, and 90% of its ads are just about them playing with the product. Not everything needs a CTA and captions.
If you make any of these videos, I’d love to see them! Share them with me on Twitter or just reply to this email.
TLDR;
Keep your ads simple and let the product do the talking
Your product is cooler than you might think
