Aloha

This is a studio ad that we recently made for Aloha. These guys have been with us for over four years now, and in that time, we've become really good at creating this style of ad creative for them.
And with our custom-built studio, it becomes even easier.
You'll probably have a bunch of gurus saying they could make the same thing with AI, but I can assure you they couldn't. Videos like this normally take about a day to film and then a couple of hours to edit, but the result is a really fantastic product showcase for the brand that often sits at the middle to the bottom of the funnel, reminding people why they love Aloha.
Because with a brand this big, you can't just have UGC in your ad account. You need to make sure that every customer is catered for at every stage of the funnel. And this is why I believe it's so important to have an agency with all these skills.
Even though this is a high-production-value ad, it's still created with a social-first approach. Meaning that everything we do, whether it's the editing or the short choice, is made with the intent to push people towards a purchase and keep them watching. That's where most people go wrong with high-production ants.

Now, we've spoken about high production, but what UGC is performing is this kind.
Nothing crazy, nothing groundbreaking, just a person in the target demographic speaking to a potential customer. Using the product in the hook of the video to help make sure that the right people are watching it, and then a simple script that just goes over why this product is better than the rest.
We've spoken about Yapper videos in this newsletter, where it's usually, I'd say, a female in an aesthetically pleasing location talking to the camera while maybe doing their makeup or something. And this is the other side of it. It still has the raw, authentic style of a Yapper video, but it's in a different location, and it’s not as ‘pretty’. They're actively showing the product. It takes heavy inspiration from ads that you'll see on TikTok shop, because this is the stuff that people are buying from, and it's hard to deny it.
I really, truly do urge you to get some of these ads in your account as soon as possible and strike while the iron's hot. We often fully script these videos and pick UGC creators we feel can pull them off. I wouldn't just let a creator wing it. If you do want it to feel very authentic, you could ask them to do an improvised take so that you have two options.

Now, the new ChatGPT image model launched only a couple of days ago, and we've already been hard at work making some ads with it. This is the result of one of them.
Currently scaling in the ad account. Would you believe the image was entirely generated by AI? Because it was, the only thing I did manually was add the copy.
It's fast becoming impossible to ignore AI and how you can use it to make winning creative. This is a great example of how you can use these models to create something that potentially you might have had to reach out to an influencer for and wait a couple of weeks to get the results. Instead, you can get something and test it quickly. Next time you do go to a creator and request something like this, you know exactly what to ask for because you have proven results.
In fact, this type of ad works so well that I've made a Claude skill that generates prompts; all I need to do is change the location and background, and attach an image of my product. It just pumps out photos of this quality.
And the copy: you just need to write in a way that your customer would relate to. Use their language, consume some content that they might be watching, and then replicate it.
TLDR:
Organic Instagram story style creative like this is absolutely killing it, and you don't want to get left behind
